About the Author

Lance Bond completed his Ph.D. in mathematics in 1971. He worked in software and related fields for 28 years. During that time he founded several software and game companies. He edited two early editions of Encyclopedia Hârnica for Columbia Games. He has published short stories in science fiction and mystery magazines. THE FRAGMENT is his first novel.
